What kind of work do we take on?

We are a full-stack team: the same person can think through the data model, the API, and what the user sees of it on their phone.

Mobile app development

Custom iOS and Android apps, from design to release on the App Store and Google Play. One codebase, native feel, real performance.

API and backend

Documented REST APIs built on Laravel, ready for a mobile app, a web interface or a partner system to connect to. A considered data model and clean business logic.

How do we work?

Five steps, the same on every project. The order is not accidental: most failed projects fall down on the first one.

    We do not wait for a finished specification. We talk through what the user does today, what hurts, and what they actually want. That is where the brief comes from.

    Plan and technology

    We pick the stack that will still be maintainable in five years. Not the most fashionable one: the most sustainable one.

    Transparent development

    YouTrack tickets and regular demos. You can check where the project stands at any time, without asking for a status report.

    Launch

    Release to the App Store and Google Play, cloud deployment, handover. We do not leave the testing to the client.

    And afterwards

    Monitoring, maintenance, further development. A finished project is not a closed file here.

Custom module Mobile

We build custom modules for OLM (Online Munkaidő Rendszer, a Hungarian workforce time-tracking system) and integrate them into the live system: GPS tracking, appointment booking, an EFO module for simplified employment, permission architecture and its validation, plus database tuning. More than 10,000 people use the mobile app.

What does HappyDev do?
