1. Purpose of this document and provider details
These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the viewing and use of the website available at https://happydev.hu (the "Website"). By opening and browsing the Website, you acknowledge and accept the provisions set out below. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

These Terms apply solely to the use of the Website. They are not the general terms and conditions governing the development, hosting or consultancy services provided by HappyDev: those services are always governed by the individual contract concluded separately between the parties.
2. Purpose of the Website
The Website is a single-page corporate site that serves purely informational and introductory purposes. Its aim is to present the activities of Happy Dev Solutions Kft.: bespoke iOS and Android app development with a complete API backend, web development (Laravel/Livewire, WordPress, Unas), AI and machine learning projects, custom module development for existing systems, system audits, and hosting and maintenance.
The Website has no contact form, newsletter sign-up, registration, login, online shop, payment function, user account or data entry field of any other kind. No contract can therefore be concluded and no order placed through the Website; please get in touch with us at info@happydev.hu.
The content published on the Website (including service descriptions, references and the names of technologies) is provided for general information only. It does not constitute a contractual offer or an invitation to treat within the meaning of the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013), nor does it constitute a contractual commitment or professional advice of any kind. Obligations in respect of any specific piece of work arise only under a contract concluded in writing.
3. Intellectual property
The Website as a whole, together with its individual elements (text, graphics and images, layout, source code and the HappyDev logo), is protected under the Hungarian Copyright Act (Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright). The economic rights are held by Happy Dev Solutions Kft. or, in the case of particular elements, by the relevant rights holder.
Any use of the content of the Website in any form (in particular reproduction, distribution, adaptation, communication to the public or display on another website) requires the operator's prior written permission. This restriction does not extend to reading the content for private, non-commercial purposes, or to short quotations of a reasonable length that cite the source and include a link to the Website.
The "HappyDev" name and the HappyDev logo are distinctive signs of Happy Dev Solutions Kft. Use of these signs, or of any sign confusingly similar to them, is prohibited without prior written consent.
The names, logos and trade marks of any third parties that may appear on the Website (clients, partners and technology suppliers) remain the property of their respective owners. They appear on the Website solely for identification and reference purposes; their appearance does not imply any endorsement of HappyDev by the rights holder, nor any assertion about a relationship between the parties beyond what the surrounding text expressly states.
4. Limitation of liability
The operator endeavours to ensure that the information published on the Website is accurate, up to date and complete, but gives no warranty to that effect. The content may change at any time without prior notice.
The operator does not guarantee that the Website will be available continuously, without interruption or free from error. The Website may become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, development work, technical failure, a fault at the hosting provider or along the network path, or any other cause outside the operator's control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator excludes liability for any damage arising from use of the Website, from its unavailability, or from decisions taken in reliance on the information it contains. This limitation does not extend to liability for damage caused intentionally, for breach of contract that harms human life, physical integrity or health, or to any other liability that may not be excluded by law.
5. External links
The Website may contain links to websites operated by others, including the website of HappyDev's own product, PetMetic (https://petmetic.hu). The operator accepts no responsibility for the content, data processing practices or availability of websites that it does not itself operate. Once you follow a link to another site, that site's own terms and privacy notice apply.
The operator does not restrict the placing of links to the Website, provided that the link does not create a misleading impression as to a relationship between the parties and does not infringe the operator's rights or legitimate interests.
6. Rules of use
When using the Website, you must not:
- carry out bulk downloads using automated tools, or downloads exceeding the scale of ordinary browsing (for example systematically harvesting the content, or making requests at an unreasonably high frequency);
- circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the security measures or access restrictions of the Website or its server;
- interfere with or overload the proper operation of the Website in any way, or place or transmit malicious code;
- use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to the detriment of the rights of others, or for unauthorised data collection.
The operator is entitled to restrict by technical means the access of any visitor who breaches the above rules, and to take the necessary legal steps in the event of an infringement.
7. Data protection and cookies
The Website stores no personal data in any server-side database. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail the processing associated with your visit, including web server logging, the embedded map and the loading of fonts. The cookies used on the Website, their purpose and lifetime, and the management of consent are covered by our Cookie Policy.

8. Amendments to these Terms
The operator is entitled to amend these Terms unilaterally, in particular where the law changes, where the operation of the Website changes, or where the operator's own details change. The version in force at any given time is available at /en/terms-of-use, showing the effective date and the date of the last update at the top of the document. Amendments take effect upon publication; continued use of the Website thereafter constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and the use of the Website are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013) and the Hungarian E-Commerce Act (Act CVIII of 2001). Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
The parties will seek to settle any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Website primarily by negotiation, at info@happydev.hu. Failing that, the Hungarian courts have jurisdiction over the dispute, before the court having competence and territorial jurisdiction in the matter. As no contract can be concluded on the Website, the mere use of the Website gives rise to no consumer contract dispute.
10. Entry into force
These Terms come into force on 21 August 2026 and remain in force until withdrawn or amended.
